Fire Notes 02 — 06.08.2020

The storage area was the most badly hit section, so we went to check what might have survived the fire. We wanted to save as much as we could, should the artists want to take back what remains.
Going through some of the works was like walking back through our history since moving to Kamuning in 2008. It was not the stale, putrid air and ash swirling around us that brought tears to our eyes, but the rush of memories and the physical confrontation of loss.
